Graphics

For the Vers Fest event, I made a poster which was supposed to catch your eye when walking by. So I made the poster with a lot of bright colors and a big font.

For the Vers Fest event, I made a timetable for the artists that were playing. I made the timetable with the same style as the poster, so it would match.

For the youth panel of Forum Groningen, I made a poster for the P.S. event series. The event had a classroom theme, so I made a chalkboard out of it. The event was about how to deal with being a new student.

For the second event of the P.S. event series, I made another chalkboard poster. This event was talking about sex and intimacy. So I choose to make a drawing of two pink lips kissing each other.

The third event of the P.S. event series was about politics. So I made a poster with a drawing of a voting-paper.

This is my pet snake Nori. I love him so much that I decided to make a drawing of him.
Nori tekening
This drawing was a school assignment, in which I learned how to use light and shadow. I drew the vases on paper and then added digital effects in Photoshop. I was inspired by a poster from VERA.

In this artwork, I practiced with overlaying colors. I choose these colors because they are a challenge to combine. Normally you would do overlays with red and blue, but I wanted to try something different.
Dizzy
This is a typography poster I made of Bring me the Horizon. I choose this type of lettering because it is a metal band with harsh sounds.

This is a mockup of a magazine. I designed these two pages myself. I made shortly after going to one of her concerts. I was inspired by the colors and the vibe of the concert.

This was an assigment from Poeziepaleis. I choose a poem by Zoƫ Hornsveld and painted a background for it. Purple stands for calmness, so I made the sky with a purple gradient to match the feeling of the poem.

Videos

I interviewed a tattoo artist and made a short documentary about it. I wanted to show the process of tattooing and the story behind the artist.
In this video, I was practicing with sound effects. It is a short film about getting ready for a long day.
For a school project "Buiten de lijntjes", I made a short horror film called "STEKEL" with practical effects.
In this video I wanted to make ramen look fancy and expensive. I used a lot of different camera angles. I choose for violin music to help achieve this effect.

About me

Hi, I am Nikita, a 22-year-old Graphic Design student based in Groningen. My days are filled with vibrant designs and artistic expressions, a reflection of my passion for creating things.

Besides the world of creating artworks, I enjoy to spend my time going to concerts and playing video games. I go to all kinds of different concerts, but I prefer the metal genre. My favorite video game is Hollow Knight, it is an adventure indie game, where you have to defeat bosses to continue.

What truly makes my world unique is the presence of Nori, my graceful snake. His calm presence adds a unique element to my life and creates captivating moments
